I wanted to try out the Beta of Windows 7 that Microsoft was offering, but didn’t have time – I have my own key, I just need the install files. Where can I get them? Is there any 3rd party sites hosting these files, that anyone knows about?
Thanks!

Vista has a horrible public image, yet Windows 7 is getting mostly praised. Are they less similar than it seems?

Right now I have vista. I am planning on downloading the windows 7 beta. What will happen when that beta expires??? I am expecting it to go right back to vista.
What happens? If it doesnt go back to vista, then what am I supposed to do. Vista came preinstalled on this computer, so I dont have the disk.

How do I overcome this?

Is there a way (and if so, how?) to run Windows 7 (whatever beta it’s in) on my computer from a Flash Drive? I don’t want to install it on my computer because I don’t have a disc burner to back up my files, so I’d like to try it out by booting off of a Flash Drive. How can I do this?

I am experiencing Aero performance issues in Windows 7 BETA build 7000 and I have read that it likely has something to do with PowerMizer. There are registry instructions to disable it for Vista, but a few things are different from Windows 7. If anyone has successfully disabled PowerMizer in Windows 7, could you please tell me how?
