i plan to upgrade these components in my computer:

1. CPU.
2. RAM
3. Video Card.
4. PSU

but when will i have to reinstall windows?

HP is sending me my windows 7 upgrade disk. I was wondering if I have to use the disk on my new computer or if I could use it to upgrade any computer.

I am trying to upgrade my computer to windows 7 and I can’t find the link for the anytime upgrade.

The Laptop was a Toshiba, but I want to upgrade my Dell desktop to windows 7. Will I be able to just use the CD they send me to upgrade the desktop, or is the upgrade specific to a certain manufacturer? I don’t plan on upgrading the Laptop.

I bought my Laptop about a month ago from best buy and it qualifies for the free windows 7 upgrade. How do I go about getting that? Do I need to go to best buy with the receipt?

When I Run Windows 7 Upgrade advisor, the program tells me to update the driver for my wireless adapter, where I can find one??

If I have the release candidate version of Win7, will I be able to install the win 7 upgrade? Or will I have to get the full version? Thanks!

I just got a new Laptop ASUS 51 gamer pc and it comes with the free win 7 upgrade but since the release date for win 7 is this month I doubt id get the CD in time. Now I plan to buy a win 7 my asking is could i put that new bought 7 on the Laptop and later when my offer 7 comes in the mail put it to a diferent pc or do i have to wait for the offer if i want my Laptop and pc to have win 7? just getting 1 win 7 since i get one free but id prefer to have it first on the lappy than on the home pc.

Ok, now i have a Dell Latitiude D600 that I want to reload the computer from scratch and load a new OS. I have Windows 98SE and have Windows XP upgrade to load the D600. I have seen from alot of people that it is not wise to load Windows 98 on a D series Dell computer. But can Windows 98 be loaded first then load XP upgrade afterwards?

Will Windows 98 make it to where I cannot load the XP upgrade afterwards.
