I need the drivers, I have the cable. I found a link to a driver but it says Win2K, so I’m defiantly not using it. Any help whatsoever would be great thanks!

I am looking for a program in Windows XP (sp2) that will scan a document on my flatbed scanner. Windows IDs the scanner and installs a driver for it. The scanner had software that runs under 98se but the program will not install in XP and Canon, the manufacturer, will not even support it with XP drivers. I have noticed there is No Kodak imaging in XP. There is no program like it in XP? Does anyone know of a free program that will do the scanning?

i bought dell studio recently and i would like to install xp in it . i heard some of the drivers didn’t work in xp. so what are the drivers that won’t work and from where i have to download them

I m using HP 6516 Laptop.I have given Win Vista.I want to install Win XP.It has drivers problems in intalling Win XP.While installing its not showing in which drive you have to install win XP.It does’t detecting my hardisk.plz help me out.

dell only covers hardware, so I can mess with my OS that I pay for it

When starting up pc, as soon as I log on the blue screen appears and it starts dumping etc.. Where it says Stop: there are various numbers & letters but nothing specific. Am at work so unable to recall what they are exactly but it’s nothing I recognise like a prog’.
Can only get on to PC in safe mode, so unable to uninstall various programmes that may or may not be the cause. Have tried going back a restore point but it won’t do that either. This used to happen occasionally but it would always be ok on re-boot. Nothing new has been installed since Dec’ when I installed a Nokia cable thing to transfer music on to my phone. This is one of the prog’s that won’t uninstall in safe mode.
How do I access drivers and how do I know what the drivers are for and what to do with them….all while in safe mode?

I downgraded from vista to xp, but acer has no official drivers on its website.

I recently bought a HP G60-121WM. One of the first things I did was downgrade vista to XP performance edition, but now many of my devices won’t work. Does anyone know where I can find the missing drivers I need, or at least how to tell WHICH drivers I need?

I want to configure my PC to automatically be detecting flash disks like win xp without installing drivers.
