How to decrease windows xp boot time screen?

Saturday 12 June 2010 @ 3:20 am
windows xp

I have windows xp professional installed on my computer and every time when I start my computer, I have to wait for long time to computer to start up.
The windows xp black boot screen is too much delaying, the blue bar below its logo is passing around 10-15 times each time.
Is there a way to decrease its delaying? I mean to decrease that blue bar’s passing time to 2 or 3 times only?

Thanks a bunch!

Delete Windows XP Username Without Control Panel?

Friday 7 August 2009 @ 4:23 am
xp control panel

Does anyone know how to delete a windows xp username without control panel. I don’t mind using command prompt, other programs or editing registry. I have windows xp professional, sp2. When I try to deleting some folders in the username folder such as desktop access access is denied or says the folder isn’t empty although just before i use the del function on the same folder. Windows explorer will crash if I try to delete it manually. Some Microsoft HTML program crashes when I try to remove the username via control panel. Safe mode does the same things.
First answer isn’t the same subject. Thanx Luca for trying.. the username isn’t as a net user anymore but no files have been deleted.. I’m not trying this as a hack.. just crashes with control panel.
I am the administrator of the PC, I have an administrator account..and the default Administrator username in safe mode.
This is all on a single PC and not over a network.

I just bought a box of miscellaneous items and in it is a Microsoft Windows xp Professional upgrade with SP2. The box is opened so I am ASSUMING that it is already used. If so, will it allow you to use it on another computer?? Or will it deny you. I am trying to sell it, so I do not want to scam anyone.

should I uninstall Windows Vista and put XP Professional?

Sunday 21 June 2009 @ 4:32 am
windows xp

I am buying a computer in December, it will come with Vista Ultimate. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to install Windows XP Professional… supposedly there are way less issues, hacker attacks and the compatibility with other programs is better.
And in case if you’re wondering, I will not use the computer for games; although I only plan to get GTA IV on PC when it comes out…

what should I do?
